This hardy Southeast Asian plant thrives in low to medium light, making it ideal for beginners seeking an eye-catching focal point. With moderate growth and propagation via runners, it adapts well to established tanks. Maintain nutrient-rich substrate and stable water conditions to prevent crypt melt and ensure vibrant, healthy growth.

Appearance: Features long, slender leaves that twist in a spiral shape and have a vibrant reddish-crimson hue. It grows in a rosette formation, with emergent (above-water) leaves being shorter and wider.

Light: Low to medium light is ideal.

CO2: Low to medium CO2 requirements are recommended for best growth. 

Maintenance: Regular trimming is necessary to prevent it from growing too tall and to maintain its shape.

Propagates: through the development of daughter rosettes at the base of the mother plant.
