These corys are social and thrive in groups of 6 or more, displaying natural schooling behavior while sifting through soft sand substrates.

Size: Small, reaching 2–2.4 inches (5–5.5 cm).
Temperament: Peaceful, active, and ideal for community setups.
Diet: Omnivorous; enjoy sinking pellets, flakes, wafers, frozen foods like bloodworms and brine shrimp, and occasional live foods.
